Kai Phillips (16)
For our main character of the opening title sequence we have chosen Kai Phillips to play the mysterious killer, we have chosen him as he is the best skilled actor in the group who can set tense scenes by the way he moves. Kai is the perfect age (16) as this is the time where he starts to find his path in life, but the path he as chosen is not the path every 16 year old takes...teenagers have been staring in horror films for years, a nightmare on elm street was one of the largest horror films out, in this film they featured teenagers being murdered by the killer. Another example of a horror film with a teenager is the conjuring, in this film a girl has been possessed by an evil spirit which forces her do inhumane things to herself and those around her. We have compared him to Tracy Morgan. |
Harry Babbage (16)
For our victim, we chose Harry Babbage as he looks most like a stereo typical popular or someone who may have caused Clarence (kai) pain in the past, so when the torture scene was filmed, the roles were reversed and Harry was the victim, creating extremely eerie and uncomfortable viewing when the power is in the psychotic killer's hands when the seemingly popular and loved figure is being tortured. We have compared Harry to Jake Gyllenhaal.

Clarence Obengsomuah (11)We chose Clarence to play the main character of our opening title sequence but in his younger years. We compared him to Bobb'e J Thompson, as they both have a seemingly cute and comedic appearance, but this is contrasted in the opening title sequence when the young Clarence is shown doing multiple scary, inhumane and violent things such as holding a bloody hammer.

Matthew Stevens(18)
We chose Matthew Stevens to play Clarence's psychiatrist/doctor as he is a very sophisticated-looking young man with a well spoken voice, this helped our group portray clarences doctor as the intelligent, sophisticated and proffesional character he was wrote to be. Because of Matthew's smart looks and well spoken voice we have compared him to Christopher Waltz.
