After researching horror film titles,we soon recognised a pattern of the titles in a certain order.
The following order is what we took note of and was the pattern we found in the titles:

The distribution company is the people who give out the film to the cinemas and the showing rooms around the country
Production company
The production comapny is the people who make and produce the film to give out to the distribution company. The whole film is created by the production company this is why they are important.
A film by (directors name)
This shows the viewers who has directed the film, this is helpful as the viewers will then know if the film will be with watching or not.
Title
The title needs to or is often in a different font or format to the credits and the other title.
Starring
This shows who has starred in the film (who appears in the film). Sometimes it can be who famously appears in the film also.
Cast by
This subtitle out of the credits tells the audience who casted everyone.
Music by
This subtitle shows who the music and sounds that appear in the film,and who created and chose them.
Production designer
These are the people who mske the film look good, they create the sets costumes and props to ensure the most realistic looking film.
Edited by
this tells the audience the name of the person who put clips together and who rearranged them and cut them.
Director of photography
This is who overlooks the camera crew to make sure that they are doing their job properly and professionally.

This opening title sequence is from insidious from 2010 and the opening sequence titles/credits are very similar to the ones above that we took note of. Our opening title sequence and opening credits will have the same order as the above because this is how the opening credits have been ordered for over 100 years.

The titles sequences of horrors were developed by graphic designer Saul Bass. Bass worked on making unique designs for title sequences and managed to gain a big name for himself, and was able to make opening title sequences for big films like Psycho and The Man with the Golden Arm. because of Bass's large name he managed to work with people like Alfred Hitchcock. Bass is perhaps most known for using kinetic typography, for his work on North by Northwest, but this was not the only film he used this technique in.
